Citizenship ceremony

Last Wednesday was my citizenship ceremony and the worst bit was that I was pretty sick – vomitting in the morning, though it had stopped by afternoon. But I still pretty sick, tired and drained out for the ceremony in the evening. So I was pretty much a zombie but I was glad that the ceremony wasn’t long at all. I thought it would take hours for some reason but it was over in less than an hour.

Sadly, I didn’t have the energy to queue and take photos with the mayor nor did I have the effort to make small talk with the people around me which my kaypoh self enjoys doing in events like this. Like hello, where you originally from, how long you came here, why did  you apply citizenship blah blah blah.

Anyway, the next steps is to apply for an Australian passport because I am flying to Japan in like 2-3 weeks so I need that sorted out.
